I bought this looking at the reviews and it matches up with all the positive reviews! My son is just learning to eat solids and loves self feeding. He enjoys this spoon immensely and since he's starting to teeth as well, it helps with the ribbed side and he likes just chewing on it. For his age (6 months) the depth is a bit longer than i would have liked but he's figured out how not to put the spoon so far down his throat so he doesn't gag on the spoon and food. It just took some getting used to. Highly recommend this if you're starting out solid foods.
