Only one downside - The length of the shaft is adjustable, but even at it's longest, I still end up hunching over to use this trimmer. I'm six feet tall. That's more of a defect with ME than the trimmer. The autofeed works great, it eats the heck out of most everything I throw at it. The motor is fairly powerful, so make SURE to wear some eye protection when you're cutting up against a wall or rocks. Or other hard things. I also learned to BREATHE THROUGH MY NOSE when trimming up against the house.
