Super fine powder! I purchased this item because I was looking for a natural way to whiten my teeth. While it is quite messy (maybe I will get better at containing it) It does work great! Within just a week of use (2x per day) I got great results! Keep in mind that the lighting is a bit different but here is what I experienced. Pics to show beginning, mid week and just one week of use. Will continue to use and highly recommend. Didn't make my teeth hurt like the other whiteners do either.
