First I rec'd this as a promotional at a discounted price, for an unbiased review. And In this case, they picked the right person. Having served a career in the Infantry I am quite familiar with living outdoors, and more so with Poncho's than say the average person. Now that all being said. This rain coat/poncho is really pretty neat. I'm 6'0 190 medium build. It fits me quite well with an Undercoat on, and I still have plenty of room to move in. It's not constricting at all. And with this type of gear, that's what you want. You don't want it fitting tight. It's basically built like a hoody, except the material is nylon. It is a lightweight nylon that can be rolled up to fit in it's own supplied carrying bag. Or simply tucked away in your coat pocket, or field pants trousers. But easily stowed away. This is a great item to keep in your home or auto, or stowed away in your outdoor gear. Great for sportsman and outdoorsman as well. Always need to be prepared. For the purpose of this review since it's not raining here, I took this Poncho outside, hung a cotton shirt underneath, the poncho over it, sprayed it with the water hose, and gave it the old finger test. Which means after I saturated the poncho, I poked it with my fingers to see if it would start a leak through to the underside. Which it did not. The shirt underneath stayed dry. So for price, quality, usability I can honestly say I would recommend this product. Again, I was offered this product at a discounted price for the purpose of this review. But I assure you that that in now way affects my opinion about this item. My opinion is my own and based on my own experience. If I helped you, I would appreciate a yes vote.
