I bought this one, then I bought the other one on Amazon that is a dollar cheaper thinking they were basically the same product. They are not. This one is worth more than that dollar difference, for example; this one has a much longer cord (convenient for being able to hang it any distance from the power source), the metal hanger/hook (the other brand doesn't have), and an on/off switch (huge plus for a hanging light). Also this light only uses 3 watts (the other uses 5) and this one gives off a warm more natural glow (the other puts out a color sucking florescent white like at work). Spend the extra dollar, it's worth it. I'm an artist and very particular about the light I live in, this one is cozy the other is a depressing lonely winter kinda light.
