Bought my first one to use in a closet to keep my $30,000 worth of Taylor guitars properly humidified between 40% to 50% humidity. I have to leave both sides of of the closet partially open or else it gets to 90% humidity real quick and I live in super dry Las Vegas. So no issues with output. The new one I got is for my bedroom trying to keep my dry sinuses clear at night for sleeping. The direct vent doesn’t work very well admittedly but that’s a simple work around. (See photo). Cut a slot in a 16 oz deli container, or plastic cup and set it over the top output vent. I also love that it is silent and you don’t have to have the night lights on. I like sleeping in a dark room. Cleaning is very simple, even though my first one runs pretty much 24/7 and is still clean after 8 months of use. They way I clean it is a cap full of bleach in the tank, shake it up a bit and plug it in outside and let it run until empty, then rinse the tank a few times and it’s done.
