This machine was a total game changer for me. I make little stuffed animals and cutting out the fabric takes up soooo much time if I do it by hand (not to mention I'm terrible at cutting things out correctly!). The Cricut took a fraction of the time to use and each piece was cut out perfectly. All I had to do was cut out squares to put on the mat. The rotary blade is amazing and I've made about 70 mats worth of items with no issues so far, except for a couple times when I didn't clean my mat off well enough (see elephant picture - make sure you clean your mats!). I look forward to using this machine for a whole pile of projects I've got going on, from more stuffed animals to thank you cards. I'm so grateful a machine like this exists for home use!
