I got the four pack of color changing WiFi bulbs as part of a gold box special. The instructions sent with the bulbs don't seem to work, so I called up the support line and talked to two very nice women. It seems like they were blind-sided a bit by the product releasing, and it's hard for them to have proper testing equipment as everyone is remote right now. Regardless - if you're having issues getting these set up, here's what worked for me. I have an eero mesh network and did the setup on my iPhone: 1. The proper App Store app to download and perform set up on is SYLVANIA Smart WiFi - NOT SYLVANIA Smart Home (the accounts on each app are different) 2. The first "easy" setup didn't work for me. Performing the advanced setup where I then had to connect to the WiFi hotspot on the bulb itself, then switching back to the app was successful in setting up the first bulb (this is all properly walked through within the app and the advanced setup) 3. The second bulb just took with the easy setup (I didn't even see an advanced option) I wanted to get this review up quickly to help out anyone else having issues, as well as the really nice support staff that I spoke to that sound like they're about to be flooded by calls. I haven't tested thoroughly yet and I'll amend this review if necessary. One thing I notice instantly is one of the two bulbs installed is brighter than the other, and they're both at 100%. Possibly a dud. Smart phone app seems to work well at first glance.
