This torch required Blazer brand butane. $$$
Good torch. Lights easily. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because this torch can only be refilled with Blazer brand butane which tends to be more expensive than other brands.. The intake valve on the torch is a custom valve and the torch cannot be refilled with other butane brands. I tried two different brands which I use on my other torches and could not get this torch to fill. I was ready to send it back thinking the torch was faulty, until I saw a youtube video about how the Blazer butane has nozzle adapters built into the cap. This made me realize that if Blazer butane needed adapters, it was probably custom made to fit Blazer torches. Sure enough, the Blazer butane fit perfectly. I can't comment of the quality of Blazer butane vs other brands but, with shipping, one can of Blazer butane cost me $23 where as 4 same size cans of another brand cost me a total of $14. I kind of irritates me that I can't make a quick trip to the hardware store if I run out of butane.It also irritates me that the product description does not mention the requirement of Blazer butane.
