Condor Combat Shirt fits well - pros and cons - lots of pictures
I'm 6' 2" and weigh 220 lbs; I purchased the XXL size and received it fairly quickly. Here are the pros and cons...
Cons:
1. Found single stitching on the loop material at the cuffs
2. The cuffs were single stitched
3. Rubberized elbow pad was single stitched
4. Stitching around the collar was single stitched (on part the single thread stitching was broken so I will have to get that mended).
5. Area of the arms is not enough for me to roll the sleeves up like I did in the military (but thats not a deal killer).
Pros:
1. Ripstop material is lightweight and similar to Summer BDU material
2. Loop area for patches measures 4" wide by 4.75" high
3. Arm pocket area is 6" wide by 7.5" high
4. Breathable torso material really helps in warm & hot weather
5. Breathable material runs up the sides, to the armpit and almost to the elbow
6. Torso material is lightweight and stretches
7. Sleeves are longer than expected & that is ok (better to have too much than too short)
8. I purchased the XXL size; my chest is 47" and I weigh 220 lbs - fits well with some room
9. Didn't cost me an arm and a leg (about $38)
Unknowns - as this shirt is made in China, I have to wait and see how it holds up. As I said, I really wish they used double stitching everywhere as this is a 'combat' shirt. I bought this shirt for the purpose of having something to shoot & teach (I'm a firearms instructor) that would give me good cover from the sun yet remain breathable; going to use this in the spring, summer and fall.
Will update as time goes on.
I hope this helps you make an informed decision.
