At first I hated this thing because I never could get the thing to stop falling over! One minute I'm reading my book in bed...the next thing I know my dog is unconscious because the thing fell over and cold-cocked the crap out of my dog!! And just when I'm ready to throw in the towel, my husband says, "dear, I think you need to turn the base the other way around. It looks backwards to me". What did I have to lose? So I turned it around and you know WHAT???? My husband was 100 percent correct! It's solid as a brick of ice in the middle of an Alaskan blizzard!!!! Have had no problems since. So now I absolutely LOVE & adore this product even though my dog still growls at it viciously every now & then!! The swing arm allows for a wide range of movement and I can fit my Kindle Paperwhite as well as my Kindle Fire 7 and Note 9 in the holder.
