Excellent product for the price. Instruction booklet/manual not very clear or too helpful. Nearly broke the blade retaining screw trying to remove the blade after the first use - that's why the 4-stars and not 5 - need to remove screw by turning it clockwise. Slices very thin perfectly - did some cheddar cheese, smoked ham, and roast beef with no problems. Used machine constantly for 30 minutes first time and no "burnouts" or burning smell from motor. Cleanup is easy - once you remember to unscrew clockwise! Definitely for home use, not an industrial strength machine but well fabricated and built.
