**coming back in September 2022 for an update** I DO love these eye drops now that I have found a way to use them where my body hasn’t become dependent on them!!! I’ll put ONE drop in each eye, and I only use them 1-2 days per week. Then I alternate using a different allergy eye drop, that way I’m not solely using the Lumify ones. This has been working great for me all this time since my original review! I heard from an ophthalmologist that she recommends these LUMIFY redness relief eye drops to people because they don’t use a certain kind of preservative in them that can be bad to use long term. So that’s a huge plus for me too! ———————————————————————— I have sensitive eyes that get red very easily. If I put any makeup on - they turn red. Go into a different climate than I’m used to - red. Allergy season or slightly windy outside - red. You get the picture... I’ve tried many different eye drops to help with the redness, and the one I have always had in my purse is the Bausch & Lomb Opcon-A eye allergy relief. Those had been the only ones to work for me - but it was always super short acting and didn’t get them as “normal” and white-ish in color as I would have liked. They also didn’t work at all if I wore makeup, so I decided to try these. These drops work amazingly! In the before and after picture I posted, the before is how my eyes look on a daily basis, not as red as when I wear makeup. And you can see how clear and white they look after using the drops! The thing that I’m bummed about though, is that my eyes became VERY dependent on them after using the drops twice a day (as directed) for just two days. When I woke up this morning they were SO bloodshot. And now after using them for just a couple days, my eyes are in a constant state of serious redness. I’ve also posted a picture of how they look today, after using them for two days, and just an hour or so after putting drops in them this morning - they went right back to being so red and the effects didn’t last as long as it says they’re supposed to. I think these drops are great for me, but only to use once, here and there. I know with any redness eye drops your eyes can become dependent, but it happened much quicker than I expected. They do work great, but I personally won’t be able to use them for more than one day at a time. When deciding on buying something I greatly depend on reviews from others, so I hope this helps you!
