I have to admit that considering the price, I didn't have high expectations for this spotting scope. I was pleasantly surprised with the very first usage at the range; I used it to check out my targets on the rifle range set at 100 meters, 200 meters, and 300 meters. At all three distances, the image was clear and crisp and I could see exactly where my shots were going. The main issue is that the eye relief is kind of crappy; meaning there is a very small range of distance (between your eye and the scope) where the scope works; as soon as you move a tiny bit, you don't see anything. Considering the scope is fairly cheap, I only knocked off 1 star because it's not really fair to expect high end optics at a low price point. At a range of 50-300 yards, it gets the job done without breaking the bank. If you're on a tight budget, I think this spotting scope is a decent choice if you don't mind that there is little wiggle room between the position where the image is in focus and the point where you can't see anything at all.
