keep it away from moisture.
Origibally I placed the clock in a bathroom. The moisture of the shower steam stopped it from working. A day later I changed the the battery and placed it in the kitchen. It has been working beautifully eversince. I am quite happy with the purchase after my initial disatifaction. Great modern, simple look and quiet to boot.
