These are by far the best toilet wands you can get. I tried another style that looked like kitchen tongs,(yes, really), and that were unusable because I have arthritis. I don't actually use the plunger on these, because they do break, but I just very carefully remove the paper after I've used it. It's easy, and neatly done without a mess. It only takes about 5 squares of paper, folded, just tuck the top part of each end into the groove on the back. You should be careful to make sure the paper goes up all the way to the tip of the wand. This makes it easy to remove the used paper neatly from the bottom where the paper is slightly raised up. These wands are a godsend for anyone with restricted movement due to weight, age, or arthritis.
