Please read this review if you gave the product only 1 star. I've written a little procedure I hope will help you to love this product. I noticed there were many customers complaining there was no adhesive. The product has a little tedious, but simple architecture. Without going into it, it's very simple to apply...there is a series of large figure "1"s on one side of your product. This is the side you remove to expose the adhesive. Starting from either side of the piece, gently pull up the protective cover. If you want to validate, before you remove the whole side, touch the exposed tape...I assure you, it will be very sticky. Now you're ready to place the tegaderm...sticky side down, of course to protect the wound or whatever you're protecting. Press firmly, using gentle pats (not so much that you irritate the tissue) to make sure the adhesive is sticking properly everywhere it needs to stick to skin. The "zipper" side of the adhesive has a smaller figure "2" written in the livery. This will be face up once you have placed the tegaderm. Gently remove the covering, starting at the zipper and peel outward. Be careful to pat down any adhesive that did not bond (in phase 1 of this process) to the skin as you are "unzipping" this cover. There is nothing sticky under the cover. You are merely exposing the top side of the tegaderm. The tegaderm itself is so onion-skin thin, that it requires this additional layer to keep the product firm while you are placing it. Otherwise, you would be working with a bandage that would have the same properties as phyllo dough. I hope this helps to remove many of the 1 star reviews.
