I used this for when I'm brewing beer at home. Using this in conjunction with a cooler filled with ice water and a cooling coil, My wort chilled down the pitching temperature very quickly. I bought a weaker 80GPH pump and had to order this one as that one was too weak. One tip I will say for any brewers out there thinking about doing this for your wort, Don't use ice water for the first 5-10 minutes. I used ice water at first and the hot water from the cooling coil melted it immiediately. Use tap water first then once it's down to 150-180 switch over to the ice water & pump and you will be good!
