I bought this phone case for my new phone. I think it's either for people who want a simple case that does not obscure the phone or for someone who wants to customize their phone case. I would not recommend this product to people who want a good grip and people who want extra protection. However, the case does protect my phone well; I've accidentally dropped my phone on the floor a few times and there have been no signs of damage. With that said, this case may be a little slippery! As someone who wanted to customize, I was able to put a printed image in the case and it still covered my phone very well; even the buttons still worked. One problem I've had with it is that over time (a little more than a month), I've noticed some yellowing in the plastic, which is especially apparent around the edges where the plastic is thicker but also noticeable in the back, which gives my phone a dirty appearance. Another problem, perhaps with many cases, is that my phone no longer fits in some phone holders, so this case may not be as thin as you think. Despite the yellowing, this case serves my needs very well since I love simplicity and customization, and I would recommend it.
