Because hot Texas summers are here, I wanted a lightweight dressy blouse and this blouse is lightweight and can be dressed up or dressed down. *. The blouse is well constructed. The fabric is 2 layers of polyester - the sheer top layer and opaque bottom layer. The seams are sewn well. * The sleeves are soft open weave like nice summer weight pantyhose - as if anyone still wears pantyhose. The sleeves are soft and move as the arms move and blow in the wind. * I have lost weight so the Amazon recommended size was too big. Use the manufacturers chart and size by your bust size for the proper fit. *If you are between sizes on the chart and have a lot of flesh on top — size up. * If you are between sizes and flappy flattened skin like me, size down. * Why? The top and bottom layers stretch a lot. * Look at your bust and waist size on the chart. Look up fruit shapes online. You see, I am Pear shaped - small on top with a bigger belly — so I erroneously sized up because of my bigger waist than bust. Because this blouse has a generous cut, I should have sized down. This a cute I-Don’t-want To- Look - Pregnant shirt for people who are pear shaped because the sleeves get the attention. Accessorize with more accessories near the chest and this garment can go from kids at basketball practice to a Zoom call to dinner to a wedding depending on how you accessorize.My fabric pattern was black with light grey flowers. The look changes depending on what I’m wearing. I ordered XXL but an XL would have fit better in this pattern because I’ve lost weight but still have the belly. I’m not a Vogue standard for modeling but seeing photos and videos before buying a piece of clothing helps a lot because I don’t like making returns. I’ll be buying a smaller size and other colors because it’s hot just walking to the building in the morning. I’ll buy a short coverup for the cold air conditioning inside.
