First airbrush we are trying. Purchased the Fair medium. The unit works fine nice spray. I the husband am the researcher and scientist and analizer. The finish the makeup gives you in this kit is Matte. MATTE is for moist skin or oily skin. Mature folks have usally got DRY skin. So You need to use the primer before you apply this products foundation. You will also want to put a drop and mix it with the foundation. The instructions did not tell much if anything on how to use the anti aging primer. I have made some DIY MEDIA to mix with the foundation ,a few drops and now get the silk, dewy, radiant sheen. Research your skin type and the type of FINISH it will give on it. Matte or Satin are the two basic terms.( this kit is Matte) You will have to match SKIN TONE AS WELL,.before you buy Just any ole kit. The 4 stars is because we got a color from the tan section instead of the fair to medium scale. They have 4 colors in fair, you get three 4 in medium we got two And 4 in tan and 4 in dark. We got one tan. Now the good news is their replacement bottles are not 30- 40 dollars each. Less than 10.00 makes it nice to learn with. If you don't figure out how to make their Matte finish moist or glossy you'll have to find Other Products in the AIRBRUSH business to get the right look. Again the equipment is working great .
