This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning! The setting dripped with details that made me feel like I was right there in every scene. Her description of the ocean helped me both see and smell it. The author flips back and forth between characters and I thought I wouldn’t like that style, but she pulls it easily and very believably. There are several characters, including Lisa and her four grown children, and I thought I might get them mixed up but each one is well-developed and I find myself loving all of them! The storyline melds together so easily that I couldn’t stop reading it and flew through it waaaay too fast. The real issue here is that I can’t wait to read the next one!
