These are just like the ones my pedicurist uses! I've seen some reviewers comment that they "disintegrate" when you use them. They don' t disintegrate but they do shed a little. That's because these pumice stones are made for skin, not your damn toilet. These are meant to be used exactly how a pedicurist would do it, wet and on wet feet. If you use this product dry or on dry feet, it won't work........because you're doing it wrong. I constantly walk around barefoot, indoors and out, so my feet get ROUGH. I've tried those pedi-perfect gadgets, spent way too much $$ on them and they don't work. I use these on my feet almost daily when I shower, maybe a minute on each foot, and it works EXCELLENT! No more scratchy feet snagging on my sheets at night, no more cracks in my heels!
