This works so well. I combine both No Yellow and No Orange (to get my desired level of ash blonde) with Olaplex and am stunned with the amazing results. My hair is also not very porous so it takes sometime for the product to work 1st - I wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo 2nd - mix equal parts (or whatever is desired) of No Yellow, No Orange with a teaspoon of Olaplex 3rd - Section hair in 4 quadrants - apply from roots to tips - comb through to cover each section - add more mixture where needed. 4th - Wait 10 - 30 min depending on how porous your hair is - the more porous the less time you need with this (try 5 - 15 min first) 5th - VERY important - after you rinse off this mixture, wash your hair with a regular shampoo!!! It will remove some of the purple or blue from your hair, then condition your hair with a nice sulfate free mask (Carol's Daughter makes a nice one). Do this as often as you need. I turned this into a little ritual and do it once a week while listening to an audiobook (yes I am lame...but at least I have my perfect shade of blonde)!
