EDIT: I took off one star, because I started seeing this color in different lights and came to the conclusion that Ash Brown is still too warm for me. I would definitely not call it ash, but it's still a nice brown that would work for many who want just a little warmth. The application is nice and dry and stays on well. The brush is unnecessary, as it doesn't help with the application of this product in any way. Love this color (Ash Brown). My natural brows are pretty close to black, but black eyebrow pencils always look too harsh and dark. Most eyebrow pencils for brunettes are too warm. This is a nice, muted brown without much warmth at all, so it doesn't stand out. Very natural and easy to apply. Stays put as well. I accidentally bought the color "Taupe" once in this product. It was a great color too, but too light for me. I still used it up though. If you have light brown or dark blonde hair, try the taupe.
