Came exactly the same way as picture. The instruction is not great written. However, we took no efforts to set up since the components are straightforward to assemble according to diagrams. Initially we didn't see anything from the telescope. We soon found out that we were just not technical enough so we made the following two mistakes ^_^. (1) One of the caps was still on lenses. (2) This is a real telescope - not magnifying glasses. For the stuff that we hope to see, we have to use the Finderscope to find it first, then use the big one to see details. Through the telescope we can see a single line on an artwork across the hallway. It is really not meant for anything nearby. LOL With all that understanding, the view from this Gskyer is crystal clear and we are looking forward to many more star observations!
