I actually just got them today and am helping my old girl learn to use them. It is just the right height for my couch. She was trying to jump up and was falling down so I looked at a bunch of them and decided on this one. What I love is the height and the width of the stairs. Yes it is plastic but it looks just fine on my hardwood floor and up against our leather couch. Here she is. I am really hoping that this enables her to use the couch as she chooses while preventing an injury from a fall.
