Very pleasantly surprised by the effectiveness of this eye cream
I've used Arbonne and Peter Thomas Roth (PTR) skincare products for many years and had been satisfied with PTR's "Intensive Anti-Aging Cellular Eye Cream." Then I developed dark undereye circles for some reason several months ago. I switched to one of PTR's specialized eye creams (Power K Rescue) for dark circles with no success. Then I read the positive reviews of this eye cream by Body Merry. I was a little doubtful because I'm totally unfamiliar with this skincare line and (dare I say it?) sometimes I feel like some companies have a bunch of fake positive reviews added in. But since the current Amazon price was only $16.99, I figured it wasn't an extremely expensive purchase if I didn't end up liking it. At first glance, I wasn't all that impressed. Although it functions perfectly well, the plastic pump container doesn't have the same high-end professional appearance that the other eye creams I've used have. And, once I had pumped a little dollop out to smooth around my eyes, the consistency of the cream felt too wet and lightweight. But it works! (Or at least for me, it does.) This too-wet-feeling eye cream doesn't stay wet but rather seems to absorb well. And, now after a month of use, my recently-developed dark circles are practically gone. Plus the skin around my eyes looks great now -- smoother and tighter -- and has recovered from my unsuccessful use of the PTR Power K Rescue eye cream. One thing that could have been an issue for me is the scent. I usually prefer unscented skincare products. But this actually smells so nice that I'm perfectly happy with the smell (reminds me of the light herbal smell in spas). One note of caution: the pump dispenser wants to give you a bit more than you need for both eyes. I found it works fine and gives you an appropriate amount, though, if you just slightly depress it rather than fully pressing down.
