Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

First- I rarely rate products I buy on Amazon (even good ones) but this product warranted a review due to its performance and the number of camp/portable gas grill options available that I sweated over purchasing I considered the traditional Coleman portable grill but was not excited after witnessing friends “grill” on it for ridiculously long times to get unsatisfactory grilling results on chicken breasts and burgers (sorry- if you are taking time to cook, even when camping, the food should look and taste good) I also considered the pitboss and a few other gas grill options on Amazon in the $100 range but all seemed to have heat control, knobs melting, or grease dripping out the bottom of the grill as check marks against them This grill heats quickly off of a 1 lb propane disposable cylinder (like 3-4 minutes to 400-450 F). , has excellent heat control (like 250 F on low to 500 plus on high), is solidly built out of stainless steel with two independent burners that are covered with drip covers after assembly, and provides excellent even heat across the cooking surface. I used this 5 times during my recent long weekend camping trip for cooking around the camp site with the great portability to bring it to the beach for a cookout as well. All of these uses were cooking hot dogs, burgers, and chicken with excellent results - it’s easy to sear chicken breasts and get amazing juicy results with grill marks (just like at home with the big ole’ Weber...) I was concerned how much fuel this would use with this being built for a full size propane cylinder that produces 20,000 BTU as opposed to the typical 10,000 BTU with typical camp grills. After 10 minutes of use at 450 F the grill used about 2 Oz of fuel. So this equates to approx 8 grillings on a single 1 lb cylinder In conclusion- yes this is more expensive than some of the other portable grills but functions amazing.
