Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

... which I actually read before reviewing it. I usually don't choose my book for kindle first until a number of people have read and reviewed the selections. I use the reviews to get a better idea if I will like the book. This month, I found myself with nothing to read early in the month. I had narrowed my choice down to two books and turned to the reviews. Out of the reviews left for Bone Music, I think only one person had actually completed the novel, but everyone left a rating. I decided that I would choose this book so real reviews would help future readers. I enjoyed this book, it's a bit of a thriller and science fiction rolled into one. I felt that most of the characters were well fleshed out and believable. The action was well paced and the science fiction (advanced drugs and technology) were within the realm of possibility allowing for suspension of disbelief necessary in science fiction. The story was interesting and absorbing and never seemed to drag. A couple of the characters and some circumstances in the book were a bit too contrived but on the whole I really enjoyed my time with these characters and this story. I'm interested in how the story progresses and will read the second book when it comes out.
