So, I recently embarked on the painful adventures of my sciatic nerve. This made sleeping on my aged but 4” memory foam topped mattress impossible. I shopped the furniture stores for a suitable mattress but the price tag left me shell shocked. So entered the decision to buy a mattress in a box. Why not? The mattress was delivered quickly! Probably faster than the furniture store could have. The size of the box had me wondering just how on earth was a mattress inside?? Then the magic began. Even with a hurt back, the unpacking was easy and fascinating to watch a full size mattress come to life. The instructions say to wait 72 hours for the foam to fully revive. I did... impatiently... with one quick comfort test in day two. Ooo... nice! Today is finally day three and the mattress is on my box springs. It is taller than my old mattress and pillow top. 5 stars from me! Firm enough but squishy! I can’t wait to finally sleep. Update: One year later already! I have zero regrets about this purchase. Bed is still as it was on day one. No dips or grooves in the spot where I sleep. Still just right.
