I was very sceptical about this mattress. When I moved into our house 6 years ago we purchased the traditional mattress and boxsprings from a well known chain brand that is in bankruptcy. We were able to obtain for our King mattress a replacement under warranty as it failed and these were not cheap mattresses or box springs. When I came across this new style of mattress I was skeptical as was my wife. One of my kids needed a new mattress not box spring. He is 12 years old now and has had his since he was 6. I read the reviews and said why not, Amazon has a great service and this company has a great warranty. It was delivered on time with Amazon Prime whih I have been a member for years. When the box as you can see in image one arrived I laughed... it weighed a ton and was so small! I opened it up and as you can see.. it is vacuum packed and seriously had doubts this was going to be a bed! So cleared out part of the living room as I knew it was going to expand... cut carefully the plastic and voila... a bed! as you can see in pictures two and three. The fourth image is the bed in use! There was a slight smell as was expected BUT it went away within a couple of hours. We let the bed sit for about 8 hours to I will use my words "Open Up" and breathe. Once open I brought it up the stairs and placed it where the old mattress was on top of the box spring. We have had it now for several weeks and that is why the delay in writing the review... It is great! I am 179 lbs and love the comfort as I have tried it one afternoon and fell asleep. More important was my 12 year old. He loves it. Very happy that I purchased it for him. Time will tell with regular daily use from a teenager but if this works out I will be purchasing more to get rid of the brand name ones that we have that are lousy! I do recommend these and I will come back if we discover anything negative over the next while, but we are very happy with the purchase. Update October 31, 2018. I just ordered a second twin for my 14 year old son. Update January 3, 2019. Both teen boys still love their mattress. No issues.
