I did not pay much for it and I was able to see inside the ear ok. My only complaint was that the light that came out of it had kind of an odd bluish color (see the pictures I attached) which made the eardrum look a little bluish and there was a place in the center of the light that was completely dark with no light. The otoscope was light weight and worked ok other than the bluish light and the dark spot in the center. I did not have anyone currently having ear problems to look at. The winter is more the season for that. I will report back if the bluish light affects my ability to diagnose a red eardrum which is the reason I bought this in the first place.
