I just started another diet (sadly not the first) and wanted a scale that I could trust. This one IS IT. I placed it on a flat surface in the bathroom and it is VERY stable. It has given me accurate readings every time - just to check I have occasionally stepped off and on five minutes later and it goes right to the same reading. AND BEST OF ALL, it remembers the last reading, so I can get reasonably accurate feedback from day to day and week to week on the spot. Easy to stand on, very stable and accurate - and it looks good in the bathroom. What more could you want - other than it comes at a very, very reasonable price. LOVE IT
