Ill just list the things i like about this mattress protector 1. There is no noise and nothing in the mattress protector to actually make the noise. I think the ones that make the crinkling noise have a sheet of plastic in them. 2. Its a decent level of softness you would expect from a mattress. Its not on some very fluffy blanket level or soft sheet level but its still soft. Like i would say softer than a cotton shirt but slightly less soft than quality bedsheets. 3. There is no scent at all from right when i opened them Overall, this a great quality protector thats soft, quiet, and doesn’t smell.
