I bought 3 of these for my family medicine clinic so I wouldn't have to constantly carry around the metal otoscope that I bought during school. I was pretty wary about buying such a cheap tool for clinical purposes, but I have been pleasantly surprised. The light is definitely bright enough to get a good view and the "lens" isn't blurry by any stretch of the imagination. I actually regret spending over $200 on a scope during school when I could have just had this one and had nearly the same performance. Highly recommend - especially if you're looking for a great otoscope that won't break the bank. Don't let Welch Allen convince you that you need something crazy expensive to do your job well!
