Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

An old-school "hot and heavy," meaning aristocracy, passion, adventure, changing scenery (London ballroom, slums, country estates), mystery and sex! So for those of you who complain about sex and language, this one isn't for you. Though the hero and heroine are classic, romantic types, they don't spend the whole book complaining about their damages or repetitively pushing each other away. It takes reading the whole book to find out each one's entire story. There's the usual hero saves heroine, (which even though we want, can sometimes get boring), but in this book there is a twist-- the hero doesn't always get there right in the knick of time. You really see the heroine's bravery, not bc she is a ninja master, but bc she is a survivor. The villain is pretty horrible-- not the usual coveting type but plain sadistic. After reading so many romances, there are a couple resolutions I could guess at, but one never knows who the villain is or why he does what he does until the last couple chapters. So, you keep turning the pages...
