The monitor is good - maybe leaning toward excellent - but the software they advertise to split the screens is not nearly as impressive as advertised. I am driving the monitor with a MacBook Pro (USB-C --> monitor is great) and using the software to divide the monitor down the center. Here's the issues with the LG software: #1) It doesn't split the monitor as if you had a dual monitor display. Let me explain, if you had two monitors you can full-screen apps and three-finger swipe to other full-screened apps. Since LG software creates two "sections" rather than two "monitors", you can't full-screen apps in split mode... if you do full-screen it spans the entire monitor. #2) Apps don't stay in the same virtual monitor when using split screen. It's super annoying when side-by-side apps (e.g. composing an email on one and looking at notes on the other) that apps randomly switch which side they are on when moving between apps. I spend half my day putting apps back where I want them. Besides that, really nice monitor.
