A Most Outstanding Purchase! I was almost foolish enough to let a few bad reviews stop me from purchasing this battery for my Grandson's "Hot Wheels" brand Jeep. I'm most sincerely glad that I figured out that the bad reviews came from people who didn't know what they were doing. No, with that said, I'll be happy to give you a few pointers so you don't have a bad experience with this awesome replacement battery. 1st) Be certain to utilize either a strap of twine or string or if you have them available, long pull-ties and I'll tell you why. Some of the complaints stated that the "Connections of the wires to the battery were weak and would easily break off." I personally didn't find this to be the case but, if you fold these positive and negative leads across the top of the battery, leaving some slack for stress relief, and then use pull-ties or even a slice of duct tape to hold the lines in place, they simply will not, can not break off. 2nd) Let me address the size of the replacement battery. It is in fact smaller than the original and being so, there will be spare room around it in the Battery Box, (Battery Housing under the hood). A really quick fix for this to prevent the battery from rattling around and risking the breakage of the positive or negative lines is to place foam padding around it. Something like that of an egg create type foam or the type available in older Memory Foam pillows. This will secure the battery in a stable upright position that will not allow it to rattle or cause the lines to break, which again, the connection lines on the battery we received were more than adequately attached for its purposes if one knows how to handle the item they're working with. Now, to the quality of this particular replacement battery. I've personally been involved in the Electronics Industry professionally since 1986. I've seen batteries of equal or lesser Quality sell for four to six times the price because of only the intended use for said battery. For instance, as back up batteries for Hospital and Government Building Lighting and/or Security Systems...they do Zero research and simply order the High Dollar batteries they are instructed to order via a procurement department. If only we could blow such cash as that. We can't, so we have to be able to shop price vs quality. This one is well worth the price. I received it earlier than expected in early January this year and we've only given it it's Initial Charge upon receipt. Since then, my Grandson has put hour after hours on that battery driving his Jeep in the Schoolyard behind our home and according to my Fluke Meter, it's still a good while before the next charge will be necessary. My 30+ years experience in the electronics industry and I've never gotten better service from any previous 12v replacement battery regardless of the price nor have I received such joy from any other.
