I was looking for a black shirt that I could pair with jeans and jackets to dress up or down for work or play. This shirt is indeed very flattering. I am 5'5" with a long torso, but carry almost all of my weight in my tummy and back, so generally I cannot wear anything fitted without getting a much larger size which then looks ridiculously large. I ordered the XL in this shirt and it fits great. It IS very flattering as others have noted and hits me right below my hip at the sides and curves down below my belly and ends about at crotch level in front and at the bottom of my bum in the back. I will note that it has a Nero collar, which I did not catch before ordering which was fine with me but may be a deal killer for someone else. The fabric is smooth and silky which gives it a nice flowy texture. Although fitted, there is still room to belt it and throw a sweater or jacket over for a dressier look. You can also pair it with a pencil skirt and belt it and throw on some tall boots and it looks great that way too. I am very happy with this top and would recommend it highly.
