I have talked about getting a can crusher for a year now. We recycle, so between sparkling beverage cans and water bottles a family of eight can fill an average size recycling bin in a little under a week. Then came this week. Apparently in the dance of trash can spacing from the road and other recycling cans we missed a few steps and our cans didn't get picked up. So now we are left with an over brimming recycling can and nowhere to put their soon to follow brethren... So I went back to my research and settled on the McKay 16oz Metal Can Crusher. I work at a bottle shop so most craft brewed beverages are coming in 16oz cans now so some of the standard 12oz crushers wouldn't work. But what really got me was the ingenious simple design, two main moving pieces do all the work. The McKay Crusher is heavy duty, and you'll feel that right out of the box. Find yourself a good anchor point because your wall may give-way before this heavy-duty crusher does. What I didn't expect was all the fun had as we were freeing up space for our recycling container. The kids loved crushing the cans! A quick rinse out of the cans and suddenly we were rating on technique and crushing the snot outta can after can. Thanks for making a great product.
