This was easy to put together if you can follow picture directions. There are no written instructions. My daughter and I had no trouble assembling it with the help of an electric drill (screwdriver). The holes are predrilled for the screws. I have four hens roosting in it at night. They roam my backyard during the day. I did use a staple gun to put wire on the bottom to keep predators out and then covered the wire with sand to protect the chickens' feet. (Picture taken before sand.) I also covered the drop tray with wire to keep their feet cleaner.
