Read THIS for Thick, Rich Milk that Rivals ANY Commercial Milk
I think it's a mistake to overfill the almond basket, or to run multiple batches of almonds the way other reviewers have suggested. I get amazing results by just using one cup (dry) soaked almonds and then just repeating the cycle 3-5 times. I suspect the manufacturer would rightly point out that the machine perhaps isn't made to run that much but there doesn't seem to be any harm compared to repeating it with more almonds. If I cram soaked almonds into the basket I have to reopen it between cycles each time and it doesn't seem to produce better milk. Using this technique the almond "okara" is fine and fluffy like mousse when I am done and the milk is thick and very, very rich. The problem isn't getting more almond into the milk, the problem is getting more milk out of the almond and by just repeating a normal cycle I get just that. The machine is great, and I get the results I want (which are at least as good as any commercial milk). I have only used almonds so far. I am very satisfied with the machine.
