These seed kit worked well. However, I will not purchase it again. I find it is better to purchase nutrients in the bulk 1 quart size and then buy your own seeds. Personally, I like the Allstar gourmet lettuce mix from Johny's Seeds. I have attached a picture of the salad greens seed kit at about 2 months. It has 5 salad seed pods and 2 pods of lemon balm (my own seeds). I was able to have my first small harvest at about 3 weeks. Soon after I was able to have enough salad for myself and two children (ages 2 and 3) every other day. It went strong until the roots got brown. I started a new garden and used the Allstar gourmet lettuce mix from Johny's Seeds. I now use a root inoculate (Botanicare Hydroguard Bacillus Root Inoculant) ordered from Amazon and change my water every two weeks with very good success.
