We just recently dropped our satellite provider and got Sling already had Netflix etc.. Problem with Sling was that we did not receive local channels such as ABC, NBC, CBS. We enjoy having those so decided to purchase this antenna. First off, I did not have high expectations when I ordered this but did so because it was reasonably priced and I thought eh, I'll give it a shot. Hooked it up today and IT IS GREAT!!! We get 18 channels! I have it placed on the wall right behind the tv as you can see in the picture. It is probably 5 feet from a window. It's working so well I'm going to purchase another one possibly two more for other tvs. Hope this helps anyone who is considering cutting the cord on cable!
