So, I have to say that this is the only brand of Alpha Lipoic Acid I have tried, so I can't speak as to whether it's any better than others, but I can speak to how much ALA has helped me and others in my family. I first heard about it from a client who was recommended it for non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Only a few days later, my mother was diagnosed with it as well. I told her she should try ALA as she had severe leg pain for several years which could not be helped by any treatments she had tried. She wanted to talk to the Dr about it first, and while she had never heard of it being used that way, the Dr looked it up and found that on the Mayo website it was their top recommendation for neuropathy. My mother bought some and a few weeks later started noticing a huge difference. A year or so later, I started caring for my mother-in-law after she broke her arm, and she was telling me about her peripheral neuropathy, so I bought her some ALA and noticed a big improvement within a few weeks. Fast forward to June 2022. I fell down my stairs and severely broke my left leg in multiple places. After 2 surgeries, I started having the strange nerve sensations which often come after surgery, and I wondered if ALA could help, so I ordered some for myself. I wasn't entirely sure if it was the ALA, or just my recovery that eased the nerve pain, so when the bottle ran out, I didn't buy more, thinking I was in the clear. Within a couple of weeks the nervy sensations returned. I made the mistake of putting it in my subscribe and save thinking I could wait til then, but man, I'm just dying waiting for this stuff to arrive! I think to be on the safe side, I will be taking this long term. It is a life changer. No more letting it run out for me! I tell everybody about this product. I hear advertisements for Nurvive, of which the main component is ALA, but that stuff is expensive, so why bother with the fancy name? I also should disclose that the first person who told me about it said it didn't help her at all, so it's probably not for everyone, but it is definitely worth a try. It can take up to a month to notice the results, but all the cases I described here did not take that long. Just be patient, I hope it will work for you too.
