I live in a 400 square foot apartment on Lake Union near downtown Seattle so I have a bit of an issue with bugs of all kinds and since I am on the bottom floor of the building, spiders as well....as irrational as it is, I am terrified of spiders and really don't like them at any size but the big ones will scare me out of a room until I know it's gone. Very silly, I know, but what can you do? I don't like the idea of killing bugs or spiders just because they happened to get into my space so I was looking for a product like this that would be more humane and also keep the creepy crawly things out of my personal space! After reading reviews I decided to go with an ultrasonic pest repeller instead of sprays or traps. The instructions noted that it could take a few weeks to see the results but it's been about 10 days now and I am seeing WAY less bugs around in general. I haven't had issues with rodents here (crossing my fingers that I didn't jinx myself by saying that!) so can't attest to that aspect but for any insect that crawls or flies, it seems to be doing it's job as I have hardly seen any at all over the last few days! I even have a draft under my front door that gives me this image in my head of an army of bugs and spiders crawling under there toward the light and/or warmth so I am very glad to have this product! It has given me a lot of peace of mind the last week or so!
