I've been a Peloton rider for three years now. When I first started, I decided to purchase a Sunny Fitness spin bike and used it with the Peloton app. I recently decided to "upgrade" to the Peloton bike. To be honest, except for the added benefit of the much larger screen, I think the Sunny Fitness bikes are better and more comfortable. My entire Sunny Fitness setup (bike, heart rate monitor, and cadence monitor) cost me about $550. I like Peloton bike and the MUCH larger screen, but I don't think it is worth the extra money. I'm also now paying twice as much for the "all access" as I was for just the app.
