I have PG&E in Northern California--a notoriously bad electric company that used the COVID19 crisis to plead guilty to killing 58 people and destroying the town of Paradise California (a few miles from here) without the guilty plea dominating the news cycle. I bought one of these items and put it in the same outlet that houses the water pump for my radiant floor heater (this runs about 3-4 hours a day this time of year). I have two refrigerators a freezer and 3 computers that are always on as well in different circuits). My comparable electric bill went from 24.65 to 14.14 kw average daily usage for March (a 43% drop in usage while at home under COVID19 quarantine!) and a likely similar drop the previous month. That's a $120 savings in my electric bill in two months. So yes, highly recommended!
