So first thing I did after receiving this product is to test it. 6am on 09/04 filled the flask with ice, left it in the car outside 11am on 09/04 checked the flask, car says external temp is 84 deg, all ice and zero water. Added water to 2/3 full. Closed and left in car. 7pm ice appears to be virtually unmelted. closed the flask and left it in the house overnight, A/C setting at 79 deg. 6am 09/05 checked the flask, ice appears virtually unmelted, leave flask in car. 11am 09/05 checked the flask, car says external temp is 88 deg, lots of ice still visible, drink a bit of the water, close flask and leave in car. 10:15 pm 09/05 checked the flask and there is about 1/4 the original amount of ice remaining. Closing flask until the morning but at this point I'd say this product meets the 48 hour cold claim. -Update- 09/6 checked flask at 9am and ice had melted together to the size of my fist, checked again at 3pm and original ice finally melted down to once cube size and water was ice cold. This puts the ability to keep ice in ice state at greater than 60 hours. Also during this whole time there was zero condensation or leakage and this was all using the large mouth cap not the straw cap.
